D.L. Boone shows how a small business can go after government contracts. This September the company contacted Small Business Liaison Officers within 46 prime contractors, offering Boone's capabilities statement and getting listed in the official small-business databases. They also submitted Bidders' Mailing List Applications (SF 129) to 24 government contracting offices in the Washington/Baltimore area, and they began negotiating possible joint ventures with other companies.
