Hi,

Can you tell us if you are using the pre-compiled linux binaries, or did
you compile them from source? If you compiled from source, can you
tell us what the output of
$ ldd $GSDLHOME/bin/linux/mg_passes
is? (This is just a guess, as that is where it got up to).

Also, please cc: any follow-ups to greenstone_devl@colosys instead of
greenstone@colosys.
